How Does it Work?

Any body wrap is based on a "compaction" process, whether it's mineral, herbal, amino acid, seaweed, or aloe-vera.  The wrap procedure is exactly the same. 

Sea Clay is Two-Steps, which means longer lasting inch loss

The "sea clay" body wrap is based on a 2 step process, absorption and then compaction.  Liquid based wrap solutions are only one step, compaction only.  The sea clay wrap is a far superior wrap than other wraps because of the absorption process, although it is NOT a water weight loss.  Drinking water will not cause the inches to come right back.  Here's why:

First, the luxurious sea clay is smeared onto the body, about the thickness of a suntan lotion.  Next, warm, wet cotton cloths are wrapped around the areas to be wrapped.  The warmth opens the pores, and the sea clay acts as a sponge, absorbing the fluid based toxins that are held between the cells.  These are fluids that you cannot sweat out, or exercise away.   This bears repeating--the sea clay absorbs these fluids and holds them.  When these fluids are extracted, there are now "empty pockets" where the fluid used to be.  The elastic in the bandages "squeeze" the body's tissues, compressing and compacting these "empty pockets".  When held in place, the body's tissues start to re-adhere these spaces, closing them up, re-shaping your body-- much like a cut on the skin starts to close immediately.  Once this starts, you remain in the wraps for about an hour.  When you remove the wraps, your body is slimmer, more compacted.  

Since the "empty pockets" are now compacted and held closed by the body's natural adhesive properties, drinking water has no effect of getting these inches back.  Instead of fluids collected around the body's tissue, they are now flushed away when drinking water.  This is step #3 of the detoxification process.

Note that the body has lost very little weight.  Any company that tells you that a body wrap is for "weight" loss is not telling the truth.  This process is for "inch loss", not "weight loss".
